Chihiro Homma, Poetic Painting Artist
In Spring this year, with dusk as my inspiration, I tried to paint poetic representations of dusk. At dusk, I would look out at the sky, listen to the wind, feel it on my skin, and paint. Now, it’s autumn. While listening to the rain and wind, I think about the meaning of words and characters, one by one. Feeling like I’m writing poetry, I face the canvas and paint.
